Weekly Round Up of Articles

Hope everyone had a wonderful week.  A tremendous amount of thanks to those that  our serving or have served and the family the supports them. We wanted to share our weekly roundup of articles that can benefit or impact your planning outcomes.  As a Debt Limit Deal remains elusive the markets are starting to focus more on the potential impacts of crossing the June 1st Deadline Treasury Secretary Yellen has warned being the date that the Treasury will be unable to meet all of the Government's obligations.  If an agreement on the Debt Limit is not reached by the 1st of June the Government will have to prioritize which benefits/bills are paid.  Congressional Leaders meet with President Biden again this week, negotiators have been meeting daily, and all sides say that progress is being made.  Congress has adjourned for the Memorial Day Holiday but have been told to be on call should a deal be reached.  If you have questions or concerns, please use the link below to schedule a time for a conversation.  Please also feel free to forward to anyone you believe might benefit.
